I would go to the manufacturer of the reader, since its external I assume you purchased it after-market. In the case of your external card reader I don't know. Windows just needed to detect the device correctly. ![]() When the computer has fully booted, the drivers instantly fail installing. I'm pretty sure it's just an external version of the same device.įollowing the solution did not work for me however. I know it's a bit late, but I have the same problem with an external card reader, using the same software.
